LENOX, Mass. – Shakespeare & Company’s 33rd annual Fall Festival of Shakespeare returns Thursday, Nov. 18 through Sunday, Nov. 21 – welcoming more than 300 students from 10 high schools in Massachusetts and New York, and presenting 10 different productions.

For the first time in its history, the festival will be live-streamed through Community Television for the Southern Berkshires (CTSB), available via shakespeare.org.

An annual residency program at 10 high schools in Massachusetts and New York, the Fall Festival of Shakespeare is the flagship program of the Education Program at Shakespeare & Company, one of the most extensive theater-in-education programs in the Northeast.

Engaging students through meaningful, educationally rigorous productions of Shakespeare’s classical dramas, the nine-week experience begins in the students’ schools and culminates in full-scale productions in Shakespeare & Company’s Tina Packer Playhouse. This year’s festival features students from:

  • Berkshire Waldorf High School, Stockbridge, Mass.;
  • Chatham High School, Chatham, N.Y.;
  • Lee Middle and High School, Lee, Mass.;
  • Lenox Memorial Middle and High School, Lenox, Mass.
  • Monument Mountain Regional High School, Great Barrington, Mass.;
  • Mount Everett Regional High School, Sheffield, Mass.;
  • Mount Greylock Regional High School, Williamstown, Mass.;
  • Springfield Central High School, Springfield, Mass.;
  • Taconic High School, Pittsfield, Mass., and
  • Taconic Hills High School, Craryville, N.Y.

To ensure the safety of the Fall Festival participants, there will be no in-person public performances. Visit Shakespeare.org for more information and a full schedule of live-streamed performances.
