Founded in 1978, the organization attracts more than 40,000 patrons annually. Shakespeare & Company produces up to eight shows every season from Shakespeare to contemporary and new works, on four stages (two indoor, two outdoor) from early spring through late fall and beyond. Offering staged readings, new play festivals, and specials events year-round, there is always something for all ages to enjoy.
