Shakespeare's Birthday Bash

first season (ensemble) Courtney Bryan Devon (@Coourtinator) is a Black, Queer, gender-nonconforming Artist, Activist, and Educator. Through theatre, music, movement, and dance, Courtney creates revealing, reviving and revolutionary experiences rooted in facilitation, fellowship, and fun. A conservatory alumnus of Shakespeare & Company, Barrington Stage Company, and an ever-growing network of institutions, Courtney cultivates an eclectic arts education that is continually reinvested into marginalized communities as a teaching artist. Courtney is a proud founding member and Director of Operations at Black Shakespeare Project.

first season (ensemble) Emily was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and currently resides in the Berkshires. Past shows include Balthasar, Much Ado About Nothing; Cordelia, King Lear; Abhorson, Measure For Measure at the Lavender Door in Stockbridge, MA. She is a new education artist at S&Co, studied acting for film at the New York Film Academy, holds an AA in Fine Arts Music and BA in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Madeleine is proud of her work as an education artist in the Fall Festival of Shakespeare, and Shakespeare & Young Company. She completed the 2 year professional course at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has studied at The Second City in Chicago.

Devante is also an Education Artist at Shakespeare & Company and a recent graduate from Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, where he earned a BFA with a concentration in Acting.

fourth season (ensemble) S&Co: Kate, The Taming of the Shrew; Titania, A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Ensemble, I Have had a Most Rare Vision; S&Co Regional Tour: Lady Macbeth, Macbeth; Antipholus of Syracuse, The Comedy of Errors; Ophelia, Hamlet; Desdemona, Othello. Kirsten Peacock is of British/American parentage but grew up in Norway, where her family still resides. She studied at the University of Kent and UC Berkeley, receiving a BA in Theatre and an Undergraduate Masters in Directing. She has performed, taught, directed and choreographed in the U.K., Norway, California, New York and the greater New England area. Acting credits include Macduff in Macbeth (Arabian Shakespeare Festival), Adelle Ratignolle in The Awakening (Breadbox Theatre), and Stella Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire (Theatre:24, UK).

first season (Ensemble) S&Co: Ensemble, I Have had a Most Rare Vision. Eliana Anneliscia Rowe is an actor and poet based in Albany, New York. She is a recent graduate of Fordham University with a BA in Theater and Performance. Her recent credits include: Hamlet in Hamlet (at home) (Gallery Players) and Lady in Blue in For Colored Girls (Albany Barn). Eliana premiered her first play, My Papier-Mâché Monster, in February 2020, and is the host and founder of The Hello Joy Podcast. She is also a 2021 recipient of the Albany Capital Region "Time For A Reckoning Grant".
