Rock, Jazz and Latin Fusion with a NYC Groove!
“PGS is one of the pre-eminent forces in American music!” -Music Existence

Project Grand Slam (PGS) is the brainchild of acclaimed leader/bassist/composer Robert Miller. PGS is a celebrated fusion of Rock and Jazz with a twist of Latin and a New York City groove.

With his 8-piece ensemble, featuring players from around the world (currently Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Cuba, Canada and the U.S.), Robert and PGS have enjoyed enormous critical and worldwide success.

PGS has released 10 celebrated albums since its formation in 2007, including Trippin’ in 2018 which reached #1 on Billboard. Robert writes and arranges all of the band’s material. One of his musical signatures is to take iconic British Invasion and other ‘60s hits and “reimagine” them in PGS’s unique style. He’s done this with, among others, songs by Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Who, The Kinks and most recently The Beatles.

PGS has had over 4 million video views, over 1 million Spotify streams, and over 50,000 Facebook fans. The band and 5 of their songs were featured in an episode of the then-hit NBC series, “Lipstick Jungle” starring Brooke Shields.

PGS has performed at festivals and major venues in the United States and abroad, and has wowed audiences from Jazz to Rock, Millennials to Baby Boomers, domestic to international, and has provided support for major artists such as Blues Traveler, Edgar Winter, Boney James and Mindi Abair.
