"Corinna May, Diane Prusha, and David Joseph contribute polished performances, giving voice to the intelligence, humor, and subtlety in Wharton’s prose." —ArtFuse
"The Whartons make a welcome return to Shakespeare and Company“—The Berkshire Eagle

"...this may be Krausnick’s finest adaptation of a Wharton tale, and he has the perfect company to bring it to life." — The Berkshire Edge
”Forty years ago R. W. B. Lewis won the Pulitzer Prize for his biography of Edith Wharton, and in our 40th Season we celebrate her heritage and Dennis Krausnick’s many adaptations of her works with these two delightfully pointed and charming social satires. In Roman Fever, Grace and Alida reminisce about the Colosseum, having known each other so well for their entire lives, or so they think. The Fullness of Life unveils in charming fashion that the afterlife, while enchanting, may not be all that it's cracked up to be.
Come relish the language and perspective of this brilliant writer and her faithful adapter. Tea and levity shall be served.
Generously sponsored by Natalie & Howard Shawn and Eleanor Lord & Margaret Wheeler.
