The Two Gentlemen of Verona

The Two Gentlemen of Verona

"flawless...fun-filled...outstanding" - The Berkshire Edge

"a near perfect production...an absolute delight" -CurtainUp

Boy meets girl. Boy loves girl. Boy’s best friend meets girl and also loves girl. Hilarity ensues as love is professed, secret plans are made, and friendships are betrayed. This early romantic comedy takes a gleeful look at the fickle nature of young love and features one of Shakespeare’s most engaging comic heroines, two of his funniest clowns, and the best role ever for a dog.

"The undisputable fact about this play is that it is funny. Put a funny Shakespeare play into the talented hands of director Jonathan Croy and you are likely to get an even funnier show out of it...Croy’s directing of the ensemble is both flawless and relentless...it is one step this side of a laugh riot."
