Spring Tour 2010 Price Guide & Funding information

 

Pricing Information: In-School Performance

Full Day: $2300

Full Day Includes:
• One 90 minute performance of Julius Caesar and
• One 45-minute workshops

OR

• Four 45 minute workshops (no performance)

Two Performances of Julius Caesar in one day: $2800

Suitable for grades 6 through adults

Prices include all travel and accommodation costs.

Matinee Tickets (at central locations)

  • $10 per student ($12 after January 1, 2010)
  • FREE to teachers & chaperones (1 ticket per every 15 students).

 

Funding Information

NEA: Shakespeare in American Communities

We are pleased to announce that for the third year in a row, our Tour is part of Shakespeare in American Communities: Shakespeare for a New Generation, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts in cooperation with Arts Midwest. This enables us to provide funding to a number of schools that are new to our Touring program.

Massachusetts Cultural Council Grants

The PASS Program funds cultural field trips for children, grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12, by subsidizing the cost of admission to attend programs in the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences. For more information and an application, visit the Massachusetts Cultural Council website's PASS Program page.

The Big Yellow School Bus program provides grants to help schools meet the transportation costs of educational field trips to cultural institutions and events. For more information and an application, visit the MCC's Big Yellow School Bus web page.

Additionally, you may apply to your Local Cultural Council for funding. Visit the MCC's Local Cultural Council Program web page for info on how to apply.
