"Actors worked with students in a motivational, energizing manner!”

Bringing the New England Tour to your school:

The show and the production was an incredible hit, a fabulous success, from the performance to the talkback. Simply great.

The actors pulled off the doubling and the technical material and everything else beautifully. The kids laughed and laughed. Teachers said it was 'wonderful' and meant it. They were sky high.

Bring Shakespeare to your school!

A full day at the school usually includes two of these three options:

  1. a 90-minute Shakespeare performance: the production for 2010 is Julius Caesar)
  2. Workshop in Performance: A 45-minute workshop which can focus on any of Shakespeare's plays. This workshop is designed for 30 or 40 students - 50 students max.
  3. Actor Audience Workshop: (affectionately known as "Death by 1,000 Directors"). A 45-minute workshop, designed to follow the performance, in which the students are invited to be directors. 200 students max.

Alternatively, schools have the option of choosing either:

  • Two 90-minute performances per day (without workshops)
  • Four 45-minute workshops per day (without a performance)

We will do our best to tailor a program to suit your students' needs and your school's schedule.

Some schools even book the tour for a short residency. A residence could consist of anywhere from 4 to 12 Workshops in Performance over several days (around 40 students per workshop). The time at the school concludes with the performance of Romeo & Juliet.
