with special guests Sweet Honey in the RockĀ®

Join us for an evening of cocktails and conversation celebrating Shakespeare & Company's vibrant 40-year history with special performances by Sweet Honey in the Rock® and Company members.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Tina Packer Playhouse with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction, and will continue with a special performance honoring the impact Shakespeare & Company has had on the cultural landscape of Berkshire County through its public performances, internationally-renowned training programs, and inspirational education programs in our local schools.

Special musical guest includes the Grammy Award-winning, all-woman, African-American a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock®. The performance will be interwoven with Shakespeare scenes and monologues from veteran Company artist's, including Ariel Bock, Thomas Brazzle, MaConnia Chesser, Kevin G. Coleman, Jonathan Croy, Nehassaiu deGannes, Jonathan Epstein, Deaon Griffin-Pressley, John Hadden, Rory Hammond, Corinna May, Dennis Krausnick, Tod Randolph, Chloe Young, and C. J. Neubert.

Afterwards, guests will be welcomed into the tented courtyard for an elegant dinner catered by Peter Platt of Old Inn on the Green with music and performances. After dinner, guests will be invited to join the entire Company for desserts and dancing with DJ BFG.
