“both inspired and inspiring, enthralled and enthralling…the production you will want to tell your grandchildren about”
—Berkshire Bright Focus
“so unhackneyed and emotionally immediate that you’ll feel as though you’re seeing that most ubiquitous of masterpieces through a first-timer’s eyes”
—Wall Street Journal
A miracle of human expression, Romeo and Juliet reminds us of what it is to swear by the moon, to see the sun in another person, and to risk the consequences hanging in the stars. A cast of S&Co. veterans and newcomers take on this universal tale of violence between and within families directed by Daniela Varon. Filled with loyalty and rebellion, courage and recklessness, desire and revenge, Romeo and Juliet is a story of a timeless love and a love for all times.

I don’t see a way to leave a comment without attaching it to an existing topic, so I will leave my comment about WAR OF THE WORLDS here. Or rather, I will copy and paste my facebook post about the show here:
“I attended an absolutely FANTASTIC “Shakespeare & Co.” performance of WAR OF THE WORLDS on Sunday. The production unfolds as nothing more than a delightful & charming vintage radio variety show, a strategy that slyly disarms the audience before the intense attack that is WOTW. Though one knows what’s coming, this method of presentation puts one fully inside the head of a radio listener from 1938, and frankly, it managed to scare the pants off of me! I was reminded of FIRESIGN’S THEATRE’s often brilliant use of the radio drama format to create paranoiac (and subversive) audio drama.
