“Imagining Shakespeare” in the spotlight

Shakespeare & Company’s photographer for fifteen years Kevin Sprague is showing some of the images from his book, Imagining Shakespeare at Westfield State University’s Downtown Art Gallery through April 30th.

An alum of Cornell University, Sprague initially went down a different career path majoring in English and publishing the novel Viewfinder. In 1994, he opened up Studio Two, a design, imaging, and creative marketing agency which combines high-end photography with comprehensive print and web design to help clients communicate accurately and quickly.

Since founding Studio Two, Sprague has published Imagining Shakespeare which is a photographic collage depicting his journey and collaboration with Shakespeare & Company and Muse, a graphic novel consisting of panoramic composite images.

Kevin will be hosting a reception at the gallery on Thursday March 31 from 5:30-8:30. Read more about the show, or get your own copy of the book from Shakespeare & Company’s Gift Shop.
