Workstudy
Training workstudy positions may be available for the Month Long Intensive. For 16 weeks, participants are assigned to particular departments or programs and report directly to department heads or to assigned supervisors. Each department head and/or supervisor defines the specific responsibilities according to the department’s needs and the intern’s skills. Work hours generally range from 40 to 60 hours per week, with an assurance of at least 1 day off each week. Shared housing is provided, but transportation and meals are not. In exchange for fulfilling the agreement, the workstudy culminates in full participation in the Month Long Intensive.

To be considered, please include with your regular program application materials a work resume and a completed Workstudy Questionnaire. Participants are chosen for the skills they can bring to the various Shakespeare & Company departments.

Month Long Intensive Scholarships
Need-based scholarships may be available for the Month Long Intensive only. They are generally partial scholarships falling between $400 and $800 off the cost of tuition. To be considered, we require a completed Scholarship Application along with the regular application materials.

It is also possible to participate in Shakespeare & Company programs using grants secured from local funding sources. We have had participants in every one of our programs do so. Please check opportunities in your area.
